voluntary, expenses paid

Local Trust is a new, independent charity, established by the Big Lottery Fund and managing a National Lottery grant of nearly £200m. With our partners, Local Trust is delivering Big Local: a long term, ground breaking combination of funding and support for 150 communities across England. Each Big Local area brings together the ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisations who want to make their area an even better place to live.

We have huge aspirations to make a lasting difference and want to widen our board through the appointment of talented and committed trustees to provide strategic overview, creative insight, targeted expertise and influential support. You will have the opportunity to influence and shape one of the most exciting approaches to funding and community development in England.

If you can work collaboratively with a dedicated trustee and staff team and are keen to be part of our ground breaking journey we would like to hear from you. Trustee meetings are usually held mid-week in London, four times a year and reimbursement of reasonable expenses are paid.

The deadline for applications is 6 August 2012.

Tank Consulting is assisting in the recruitment of trustees. To download a recruitment pack, go to www.tankconsulting.com/localtrust.
